Overview
This is an itinerary joining the main parks of the north. Starting from Tarangire, famous for its baobabs and elephants, it then goes on to Ngorongoro, an immense volcanic caldera, and finally to the mythical Serengeti, whose name means ‘limitless plain’. It will be possible to visit a Masai village and see their typical dwellings.

Arrival / Arusha
Early in the morning: arrival at Arusha on Turkish Airlines. Departure for Tarangire Park. Picnic lunch during the trip. First Photo Safari in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge/tented camp.

Tarangire
Morning: Photo Safari in the park. The Tarangire Park hosts enormous baobabs and copious quantities of elephants, lions, leopards, antelopes, gazelles, gnu, zebra, buffalo, and about 500 species of birds (both residents and migrants), which is the highest number in Tanzania.
Picnic lunch during the trip to Ngorongoro.
Afternoon: trip along the Rift Valley to the Ngorongoro area.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge/tented camp.

Ngorongoro
Morning: Photo Safari inside the crater.
UNESCO has declared Ngorongoro a World Heritage Site; this is a protected area, often described as the eighth wonder of the world and its huge crater is an earthly paradise.
Picnic lunch and Photo Safari during the trip to the Serengeti/Seronera.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge/tented camp.

Serengeti
The whole day is dedicated to sightings inside the Seronera area. This central zone of the Serengeti Park is the kingdom of the felines and is home to the highest number of predators in the whole of Africa.
In this area there are many kopjes: small rocky hills which are lions and cheetahs’ favourite vantage points.
Picnic lunch.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge/tented camp.

Serengeti
Departure for the last Photo Safari inside the Seronera area. This is the best time of day to witness predators hunting in the savannah.
Picnic lunch.
Afternoon: Departure for River Mara, on the Kenyan border.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge/tented camp.

Serengeti Mara
The whole day is dedicated to sightings inside the Kogatende area where, if lucky, you can witness thousands upon thousands of gnu and zebra crossing Mara River.
Picnic lunch.
Back to the lodge/tented camp. Dinner and stopover.

At sunrise: last Photo Safari on Mara River.
Trip to the Kogatende airstrip in time for your international flight to Arusha/Kikimanjaro on Coastal Aviation or Auric Air.

- Tour on an off-road 4x4 Land Cruiser. All the jeeps have removable sunroof panels and it is possible to charge cameras, iPhones, etc. on the vehicles.
- Full board starting from the first day (lunch is included) to the last day (lunch is included). During the safari you will be provided with a packed lunch that you can eat in suitable areas.
- Park entrance fees and protected area fees.

- Entry visa to be paid for on your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, Dar Es Salaam or Zanzibar ($50 per person).
